Calibration Laboratory CRM
Lead-to-cash platform for a UAE medical-equipment calibration lab
Built for a client of Hybrid Interactive Consultancy. The client name, screens and source stay private. What follows is the architecture and my part in it.
What it is
A multi-branch platform covering the full lead-to-cash lifecycle for one of the few laboratories in the UAE with a dedicated lab for calibrating medical equipment. Sales, operations, procurement, finance and compliance in one system, with traceability across every approval and financial edit.
How it works
- 18 business modules: sales CRM, clients, work orders, repairs, instruments, inventory, procurement, HRM, certificates, settings, IAM and audit logging. Every module feeds at least one other, so data entered once is referenced downstream instead of re-keyed.
- Multi-branch tenancy where each branch operates with its own credentials, and every generated document carries the issuing branch's identity. A snapshot audit freezes counterparty details onto issued documents so a later edit to a vendor cannot rewrite history.
- A maker-checker approval chain through Leads, Proposals and a single-transaction Accept and Convert that creates the client and raises the work order together, so the two can never diverge.
- A shared PDF engine rendering nine document types across procurement and HRM, replacing the per-module one-offs that came before it.
- Procurement end to end: vendors, purchase requisition, purchase order, goods received note, record purchase, purchase return, and a vendor payments ledger.
What I took from it
The largest system I have worked on, and the one that taught me the most. Delivered against a signed scope of work with contractual SLA and performance targets.
